I am an avid online shopper for last 2 years. My friends n colleagues laugh on me as I shop online even toothpaste, toothbrush and diapers for my baby. But I have found it is a good option. I have shopped from almost all of the reputed online shopping sites, overall I have good experience except few ones.
But it was first time that I shopped a gift for my friend. At first I was confused if it will be ok to gift one of my close friends on his marriage anniversary without personally present and if the gift don’t reach him on that day, it will be embarrassing for me.
So I researched on internet and MouthShut for online gifting sites and reviews on them. Oh God! Most of the reviews were negative. Only one site has good reviews. So I contacted them and I was satisfied with their reply but when I asked that if they deliver in a remote place(where my friend has transferred for his job), they said no. I liked their approach, but my problem was not solved.
Then one of my colleague told me a site’s name which I knew before. But when I opened the site, I got surprised. the site was online shopping site before, but now they have changed their site completely and only sells gifts.
I liked the looks, navigation, product range and gifts for all occasion n budgets. I asked their customer service if they can deliver in remote places and on exact day I want. They said wherever India post can reach, we can deliver there even if it is a remote place and they have arrangement for delivering the gift on exact day I want, but it will cost a little more.
I was ready to pay a little more coz to me the occasion was more important than the little money. So I ordered and waited. On the evening of my friends anniversary I got a call from my friend and told me he got my gift and is very happy. That made my day and I was thanking this site.
Thank u guys, well done. Keep it up. Next time I don’t have to research online to gift anyone anywhere.
