I recently watched Stree 2, and I have to say, it delivers a great mix of laughter and scares just like the first part. I had really enjoyed Stree (2018), so I was excited for this sequel — and thankfully, it lives up to the expectations for the most part.
The story goes back to the same small town where ‘Stree’ has returned. But this time, she’s more dangerous, and once again the same gang — Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana — come together to stop her. Shraddha Kapoor’s mysterious character adds an interesting twist again.
When it comes to acting, Rajkummar Rao is brilliant as always. Pankaj Tripathi brings perfect comic timing and delivers some of the best lines in the film. Abhishek and Aparshakti are fun to watch and add great energy. Shraddha’s role is a bit limited, but she makes an impact whenever she appears.
The balance between horror and comedy is well maintained. Some scenes are genuinely spooky, while others made me laugh out loud. The background score works well to build suspense. The story slows down a bit in the middle, but the climax makes up for it and even throws in a few surprises.
If you liked the first Stree, you’ll definitely enjoy Stree 2 as well. It’s clean entertainment with a bit of fear, fun, and mystery — a great movie to enjoy with friends or family.
