I would like to share my experience with Su-Kam customer service. Few years back I purchased a Su-Kam inverter without bothering to inquire much about the product or the after sales service.It came bundled with a 150va battery of Su-kam make. Unlike many other parts of our country we do not have long power cut in Pune.
But still that battery died after 14-16 months the guarantee was only for 12 months so there was no options but to purchase a different battery but this time I did my research and decided to go for Exide that was a bit expensive and it is serving me since last 4+ years.
Now my Su-Kam inverter has died so I called up their customer care guy and guess what very different from what I expected this guy assured that the problem will be resolved in 24-28 hours but in the past couple of weeks I have learnt that perhaps he meant days or maybe months.
I called this guy on 11th on May regarding the servicing of my inverter(complain Id: 15052701137) after that I have made multiple calls to their call center and posted my complaint online on their official website. After repeated calls the customer care guy game me this number of a lady called Pranali Salunke 9021252546 but as expected nothing happened so I called up again and this lady replied that their technician is not well and repeated the same story every time I called up.
She then gave me another number of a guy named Sanjay 9552562662 and he always gave some weird excuses. Finally I was given another number of this lady named Farah 9921625874 and I tried calling her multiple times but it seems she doesn’t take calls from unknown numbers.
It’s been around couple of weeks now and there is absolutely no communication or progress so I have finally learnt my lesson and decided to give it up. I will see if it can be repaired outside else I will buy a better brand this time.
Bottom line is you have no good reason to buy their product. They are no better than their competitor in price features and I need not to tell how customer centric they are. In case you still choose to buy their inverter don’t ever go for the bundled option, their batteries are cr*p and that is where they make maximum money. A refurbished battery of any make is any day better than their batteries.
