Hi,
I want to report the incident that happened last night, after we got
our order from Subway at Garuda Mall, Bangalore. I ordered a 6 inch
Chicken Tikka sub , and my wife ordered a foot long Veggie delight.
Right from the beginning, there was lot of confusion, regarding the
way they were handling the orders - They were trying to give the
Chicken Tikka sub to another customer , who had actually asked for a
Chicken Pepper sub ! Also , they gave my wifes foot long veggie
delight in a red colored Subway paper, which is normally given only to
non-veg orders. Another thing I noticed was that they dont change
disposable gloves between veg and non-veg orders.
After we sat down to eat our portions, I noticed that I have been
given a Aloo (Potato) Tikka Sub instead of the Chicken Tikka ! I dont
know to whom they gave the Chicken Tikka one !
Moreover, when I went to them explaining what has happened, they
started shouting at me instead, telling me why I have brought it back
so late. So I explained that I was quite happily munching it , without
looking at what I was eating, until my wife pointed out what I was
eating. Another customer also seconded me, telling that customers
usually believe in what they have been given, and it is only when you
have eaten more than half of it, you realise that you have been duped
!
What was shocking was the way the restaurant owners handled the
situation - instead of being sorry, they started shouting at me. The
person who runs the place is Mr Sanjay , and the other lady who was
really rude was Ms. Manisha. Almost all the customers standing in the
queue were also annoyed for a variety of reasons, and promptly went to
some other food court.
This is not expected from Subway, especially to customers , who have
been to US and have seen the quality of Subway there.
Shocking !
