Focus on concepts and work hard

IIt jee is considered to be the toughest exam in India and with the number of aspirants for the exam increasing every year it is becoming tougher for students to get into the IIts. But let me tell you that it’s not as tough as it looks because more than 60% of the aspirants are not well prepared for the exam and are not serious about it no your competition reduces to more than half even before you start preparing.

It’s better if you start preparing from the start of 10th standard for the exam because the earlier you start the more time you get to understand the concepts and you get ahead in the competition. Then in 11th standard preferably join a very reputed coaching class because they have large experience and can guide you in the best way.

Complete all the homework you are asked to do and also try to solve some addition problems on your own from books like H.C, Verma, university physics, etc. as many concepts are repeated directly in the exam. Don’t concentrate on formulas rather try to learn the concepts and apply them.

And also try to solve previous year iit papers from books containing 35-40 year old papers as some problems are directly repeated.
