I came across this book accidentally at Om Books where its back cover caught my attention. It said This novel could inspire more fraudsters than financiers. A compuslory reading for those who dont want to repay their bank loans.
When I flipped thrugh few pages, the writing style caught my attention. Being a banker myself, I could relate to most of the incidents in the novel. The novel is easy to read and understand. This is the story of an ultra aggressive bank which is only concerned about achieving its targets. It creates a big team of underskilled and overzealos manpower which ultimately becomes the key reason for its failure.
The bankers were essentially good persons but due to excessive pressure from their bosses, they were forced to compromise. The extra marital affair of protagonist with an outsourced girl adds a completely new dimension to the story. The married couples handling of a small kid leads to some hilarious and some very emotional moments.
In the last phase, the protagonist was romancing his girlfriend, at the same time, his wife was trying to trace their missing son. Few episodes later, through a thrilling finish, Sumit blew the lid.
Certaining a good begining from a new author.
