The book is a clear(and as close to reality as possibly can be) reflection of the everyday pressures faced in todays cutthroat banking enviraonent, where Quarterly performance presures dominate everything else. The results of such " suicidal tendencies" . can be seen globally. The aptly titled Suicide Banker, is a must read for anyone who has lived, breathed and worked in this environment. Each character, each sub-plot, reminds one of a similar experience in the past, (especially for those of us who have spent more than a decade in banking). But even for somebody not familiar with the manipulations and machinations rampant across the financial world, this narrative will have something to keep him/her spellbound.
KUdos to the author! Strongly recommend the book, especially to all past, current and wannabe bankers!
