After the due date has expired for the product delivery I called the customer care and the customer care people said they cannot deliver the product and cancelled my order on their own. They gave me a 2.5k discount on the iphone 5 earlier and took upfront money from me as well. Not only have I lost two weeks of time but I even lost opportunity to buy it from other websites at maybe a lower discounted rates.
Customers should avoid this website at all cost. MY EARLIER REVIEW
Hi,
I bought an apple iphone 5 (order number 218500) after looking at the attractive price on Sulekha website. However, I was extremely disappointed by the services provided. I had to gift the iphone to someone and I ordered the phone and duly followed up with requests to get it delivered early but to no avail.
Why am I disappointed:-
There is no system to take prioritized request or one-off requests to please the customers
Customer care service is pathetic - people cut the phone mid-way
Customer care service people offer no help whatsoever except telling you things you already know or what is written on the order printout
On payment side of things - Sulekha site does not recognize Amex as a payment option as it is a 15 digit credit card instead of 16 digits in normal Indian cards. So I could not use my Amex. Also, Sulekha does not have any link with key banks like Citibank, HSBC to make payments through internet banking. I had to use my friends account to make the payment.
On raising the issue of delay in delivery, customer care people say that you can expect a full refund if not delivered within the due date which does not console me one bit because I ordered an iphone for which I have been waiting eagerly. Its like you buy a house and the builder tells you after 3 years that - "hey no house but guess what - you can get your money back". That is exactly how I feel.
I am so angry that I did not see this website before ordering my phone. Guess I was so used to the delivery schedule of Yebhi and Flipkart that I did not even care to read the reviews of Sulekha. An emotionally costly mistake indeed :(
