The story of SULTAN is all about 1. how Sultan khan(Salman Khan), a very ordinary, apparently good for nothing guy, became a champion wrestler to prove his capability to his beloved Arfa Hussain(Anushka Sharma), 2. his downfall, his battle to overcome all odds 3. regaining his respect . Arfa, a statelevel wrestler, gave-up her wrestling career to give birth to their child. But the child died, Sultan was accused for his irresponsibility as a result they got separated without divorcing. This shows that though they were separated, they loved each-other. In fact, this eternal love helps Sultan to win the last battle and regain his lost glory. Overall, Anuska as Afrin justifies her character, Salman is average( not as good as he is in Bajrangi bhaijaan). I would like to mention Randeep Hooda’s(Fateh Singh) outstanding work as a coach. I like the way he showed the role of a coach, he is tough at the time of training but emotionally too much attached with Sultan. The title track is good, but’Jag Ghoomeya’ by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is really a touchy one.
