There is only two films in which the actor Salman Khan has played the lead role under YRF banner. The first one was EK THA TIGER in 2012 and now Sultan. In the case of ETT, the total domestic collection was aound 199 cr and could not touch the 200 marks as per the trade reports. Now in the case of Sultan, it may end at around 299 cr and may not reach the 300 cr. In both the case it seems that there is an intentional strategy from the side of the distributors.
Usually the producer figures are always exagerated compared with the actual trade figures. But in this case the figure given by BOI is greater than that of the producer figure(ref:taran adarsh & BOI). Hope that the producers and the distributors, both being the same in the case of Sultan and ETT may save some money in showing some thing under the figures like 200 and 300.
