I dont have the zero rating unfortunately. Some time back, I wrote the review of SUN DTH HD service and this is the followup of my 3 months experience with SUN DTH HD.
Simple statement : Whenever I speak with the SUN DTH HD customer care, I will have 2 cigarattes :(
Following are comments of my 3 months experience.
June 1st week SUN DTH lost all the channels due to Insat 4B satellite issue. This issue has been informed to customers through their service channel after 1 week.
June last week they restored 70% of the channels and remaining still blackout... :(
No proper information from the customer care or through any media that when they will be back in business at the fullest.
From today even the HD channels are gone for Toss. When I called customer care they said the channels would be back with in 24 hrs and its being 3 days now... (This issue is for few customers).
You will never ever have any proper answer from the customer care. When you call them all they need is your detailed information and then if you asking for any service or question. "Sorry sir, it will be rectified in 24 "Working hours" or Please contact your distributor" distributor is just your local electronic shop wala who will not respond your calls at all.
When I asked them to take back the DTH box and disconnect their service they says its not possible, all I have to do is to transfer the box to my relation or friend again he has to pay for the new installation.. not sure how much..
I have a bet here ;) can any one try to find out when the SUN DTH service will remain ? I will give you my STB for FREE :)
Whom so ever reading this Comment, my humble request is please dont go for SUN DTH in any part of India. Instead you can try any other Service providers. Even they have any service hiccups they will atleast have some solution at the end. I was a happy TATA SKY user for the last 4 years seriously thinking of goin again for TATA SKY.
