I am using the Sun direct DTH service for past two years and my smart card number is 10076884708. I had brought this for around Rs 3000/- In Hyderabad.Intially they gave us free service for three months that was really super! After that they charged Rs 350 above to watch HD channels.
Customer service is also bad that I was felt so difficult and bad to transfer my connection from Hyderabad to Chennai and it takes almost 10 days to get the service and I spent around 500 Rs.
The minimum plan is for Rs 164 that too for local and limited channels( I have been using this plan for past 6 months).My package consists of local south Indian channels and the number of channels they providing is very less without any special subscription on monthly regular recharge.We have to pay additional charges for sports or international movies and news channels if you want.It costs around 25 Rs.Definitely not worth for money.Even Government cable service were cheap and we can see so many channels for around 250 Rs it seems.
Most of the channels do not work in the time of raining or poor weather condition-shows service error 141.
I am feeling so bad to being with Sun Direct and planning to change other DTH service soon.
