Never go for the sundirect connection

I have been using this connection for the last one year. The main thing which attracted me when I took this was, comparatively less rent and the offer which they had at that time. The picture quality was another thing which tempted me to go for that. But from the day one itself I had problem. Whenever I tried calling them, I had to wait at least 10 minutes in the queue. The customer care is so bad that neither they communicate things nor they listen to our problem. I had signal problems multiple times and whenever I called them, the service person charged me 300 bucks. When I shifted my house, I waited for two weeks for the service person to fix it for me.


Now, for the last few weeks I am not able to watch any of the channels. When I contacted the customer care, I realized it is due to some technical problem. The person told it will be rectified in few days and till then the Sundirect will not be charging the customers. The problem was not rectified even after two weeks and when I called them again, I was told that technical problem is solved. The first guy who took the phone, told me to recharge it. I recharged it and waited for 1 hour. Nothing happened and I called them once again. The next guy told meto keep the device switched on for 4 hours. I asked him why do we need to do it. He replied, the ISRO had technical issue. Since I am using an old DTH box, it requires 4 hours to get the channels. Though I knew it is not going to solve the problem, I did that also. Again there was no luck and I contacted the Customer care once again. This time the guy who took the phone, told me to wait for 24 hours. Next day when I checked, the same issue persisted. I was almost fed up with the way Sundirect handle their customers.


So I thought of making the last attempt and called the customer care once again. This time the executive told me to contact the distributor.


The distributors in Bangalore are another set of irresponsible people.They neither keep their words nor interested in solving the issues. The first thing they will tell when we call them is, the their service charge which will be Rs 300. Though I waited for two days, no one attended the issue.


The sundirect customer service is one of the worst cc I have ever interacted with. They are a bunch of jokers good for nothing. Most of the time we won’t even understand what they are talking about. When I called the customer care once, that person was telling me, it is the sattelite problem and god only knows when it will be resolved.


Those who are planning to take this connection, my request is tobe away from them. The other DTH providers like Airltel (my friend has good opinion about it) or Tata Sky ( not bad as Sundirect) may be charging little high, but you won’t face this kind of irresponsibleattitude like Sundirect.
