Good for Nothing

I purchased SUN DIRECT (Box No. F09200143120) at Visakhapatnam. Due to my service requirements, I have to shift to Kolkata in November. Before shifting, I called SUN DIRECT at their customer care number to dismantle the installation at Visakhapatnam, so that I could re-install it at Kolkata. Now, you all will be very sad to know what happened with me.


SUN DIRECT employees came to my house to dismantle the SUN DIRECT set up at my Visakhapatnam House. But, they never advised me that I have to submit complete SET at Viskhapatnam Distributor itself. I brought everything to Kolkata. Then I approached Kolkata Customer care. They said that they have been strictly not allowed to handle Viskhapatnam customers. To hit the extreme, the customer care representatives are so rude to talk that they have no courtesy.


There is no manager available over phone who could have better idea of transfer policies and procedures. Then, from Kolkata, I called Andhra Pradesh helpline 040-39407575 and spoke to Mr ANAND at 11.30pm on 29th Dec 2009. He said that I should have handed over the entire SET TOP BOX at Visakhapatnam itself. He also said that he was not sure of this policy. And the best thing is that senior most employee of SUN DIRECT must have read this. But, I am sure there will not be any change in transfer policy and procedures of SUN DIRECT.


So, New Customers should take wise decisions.
