The abode of the Royal Bengal Tiger

Hi, I want to share my personal experiences with Sundarban.I visited Sundarban few months ago.It is like an adventurous movie to go through the narrow river whose banks are limted by dense jungles and you are holding your breath for just a glimps of the King of Sundarban!

The Sundarbans is the largest delta on earth. Its forests abound with thousands of different creatures. Its biodiversity attracts everyone either he is a Zoologist, Botanist, photographer or a normal person aspiring for adventure.

The are trees here that have a specific characteristic feature that is pnuematophore, pore bearing roots coming out of the ground for gaseous exchange.

These forests are called Mangrove forests.

There are a lot of small islands where people live with great discomfort.

The only means of transport are boats, steamers etc.

It has a beautiful natural atomosphere which feels your mind with liveliness and joy.

But the people here are very poor and meet their livelihood by working in boats, catching fishes etc.

But there is always a risk of danger.Yes, there have been several cases of tiger attack in the locality.

But it is a beautiful place to visit and enjoy an adventurous journey.

Thank you for your kind attention.
