The 10 min Pasta feast!!

Its the holiday season and I’m all alone at home..jobless..cuz there’s nothing on TV..no friends to gossip and nothing interesting on the net. To top it all, there is just Roti and Sabzi for lunch. Then, relief comes in the form of Sunfeast Instant Pasta Ad on TV, I run to the grocer’s and get myself two flavours for just Rs 12 and 15...and there’s a delicious, healthy, satisfying lunch in a matter of minutes.

Authentic Pasta was always a big turnoff for me as it required a really long time to make and I wasnt that good at it. But the new Sunfeast Pasta gave me the dish in its best form, coming in a range of three exciting flavors--Masala, Cheese and Tomato cheese (maybe more, but I know only these). Even a 10 year old can add the Pasta into 1 1/2 cups of boling water, 3/4 cups of milk and some butter, stir in the sauce maker and surprise his mother with a mouth watering plate of Pasta in 10 MINUTES!! The finished product, if rightly made will be soft, so yummy and does wonderful things to your tastebuds which I experience right now after a plateful of the cheese flavor for lunch.

Of course, you can add your own touch to the dish by throwing in some veggies, spices and extra cheese or a little ghee. The Pasta tastes best after a bowl of hot mushroom soup and with a pack of Lays American.

Considering it a new product, theres not much to complain about, except that the nutritional information can be displayed on the pack. There’s also a small slip buried in the Pasta (displaying quantities of liquids to be used) which skipped my sight and fell into the water when I poured the Pasta into it.That can be taken care of. Apart from that, the product is really good, a welcome change from 2 minute noodles and instant soups. It isn’t fried and contains NO maida, so Mummy wouldn’t mind packing it for tiffin every other day.

Overall, Sunfeast Pasta makes a scrumptious meal and is indeed satisfying. Great value for money too. So don’t hesitate to go buy a pack for snack today.
