If you are a fan of open air theatre then this is the place for you. Drive-in Cinema is located in Gurukul area of Ahmedabad.
The theatre area is big enough but has just one screen. You gotta bring things like carpet and mattress and chairs from home for sitting purpose. The theatre doesn’t have any facilities for sitting purpose.
Also the place you get i.e. front-row or back row depends on first come basis.
The pricing of tickets is around ?120.
There are only 2 shows in a day. One at 7: 30 and other at 11.
The speaker and sound quality is also not that nice. But the open air experience in summer and winter season is very nice with family and friends. It feels as if you are on a picnic. This theatre can’t be preferred in monsoon season and also it doesn’t showcase any Hollywood movies.
The food facilities are a bit expensive and the quality is also okayish.
Thus the theatre is okayish but for a change if you are looking to go on a small picnic in open air while watching a movie than this is the place for you. But keep in mind the sound quality and make some settings for you own siting arrangement.
