My Insights:


One of the most interesting things about Superboys of Malegaon is the way it presents life in a small town. The movie indicates how films provide a way of escape from the struggles of everyday life. The characters are richly developed, and every one of them comes with their own point of view and struggle. Director Katgi has beautifully described the process of creativity involved in making a movie. The film is well-paced and interesting, with no lagging moments, making it an enjoyable movie to watch throughout. Further, the film does point to the cultural importance of film in rural India. It shows how local stories and adaptations can resonate deeply with audiences.


Winning Elements:


Adarsh Gourav’s, Vineet Kumar Singh’s, and Shashank Arora’s performances are superb. All their characters are gripping, well-developed, and bring emotional richness to the story. Varun Grover’s script is superb. His writing is just the perfect mix of humor & seriousness. The film touches on great themes of friendship, resolve, and the healing power of film. Focusing on a small town such as Malegaon, the movie highlights the cultural importance of film in rural India. It demonstrates local stories and adaptations, defining what is good cinema in a different light.


Final Thoughts:


When I left the cinema after watching Superboys of Malegaon, I felt inspired. It wasn’t like any other Bollywood film.
