I own this bike now for more than a year and I have to say it has kept me entertained till date. It has never failed to put a big smile on my face. Although 14bhp doesn’t seem that much but the way gixxer delivers the power its incredible. On the basis of numbers this bike goes 0-60 in 4.5 sec. Still it lacks a bit of power. Although the company claims a fuel economy of 60kmpl. but I get around 35kmpl. Which according to me is very low for a 150cc bike. Although the sitting posture is upright, the sits are bit hard and the pillion room is less. This bike is reliable cold start is never a problem but as this is a air cooled engine bike doesn’t start when over heated though I have encountered this problem only once.
Gixxer has excellent handling and control with the 41mm front forks it really stable. gixxer looks the best in its class and price range. As the design is derived from GSX1000S the bike looks stunning especially in the GSXR blue colour.
