Good bike but worst service center

Well its been around 5 mnths and I clocked around 5 kms.Normal guy who wanted to get power upgrade.

I drive at the city of Kathmandu, Nepal.I bought my bike from VG suzuki, Kumari Pati, Lalitpur, Nepal.

I owned yamaha ybx 125 which I used for almost decades without a problem. Now my decision to get power upgrade gave me a bit stress.Had gone with review here and there and thought I made wise decision.

Got the bike from showroom.During test ride I found the bike good indeed.

But after riding 100 or more KM, I started noticing rattling sound between 4k and 5k rpm.

Gear stuck all the time.At night head light seems to be useless.

Most troubling of all, I found the handle bar misaligned more or less towards left.

Now the most stressful part comes, When I contacted service center guy, they seems to disregard all my problems. They think customers are fool and they would be convinced for what ever stupid reasons they presented .When I told about handle misalignment, they would even say that it due to road which are sloppy on the side. And that was one of the worse reason I have heard.

When road are narrow I have very hard times balancing my bike specially with pillion rider on my back.  After continuous complaints with head technician.they some how got new handle bars.but it didn’t changed any thing .

Having pain in my forearm due to this, but, hey who cares about customer problem!

Regarding rattling sound, they some how managed to silence it, but vibration can be still felt even at handle bars between 4k and 5k rpm.Regarding headlamp, the only solution they gave was to switch to fluorescent headlamp.

Why would Suzuki fit  such a bulb which are meant to be changed within few kms?

Regarding gear shifting, It some how was smooth.but it came with another problem. I.e

when ever I change gear from 1 and 2 and vice versa, It always comes to neutral even at speed.now that is

unacceptable from safety point of view.’

When contacted service center.they took my bike for 1 hr test ride and concluded.to bring it tomorrow for no reason what soever! Now that is the clever twist of service center guys.

Closed at weekends, and at week days whenever we approach with problems.they would smoothly get of their hand from the problems.

Till now I have clocked around 5 thousand KMS so far.Just recently the wire of accelerator snapped with no reason.Tried to get it fixed at local shop but no one would keep Suzuki Spare at their service center.

Must interesting part was that the wire was dry as sand.I thought wire were greased properly during servicing.which I have been attending regurlarly.

Regarding mileage, Eco mode feels under powered, though they claim modes are only  cosmetic.

Some how PWR mode gives me confidence, but mileage decrease drastically.I am getting 35 - 40 at Eco mode

and around 30 at PWR mode in the city which I prefer to use.

Well that is my story with suzuki GS 150r.I am thinking of getting Honda or Yamaha bike soon, though I am going to loose most of my hard earned money during exchange.I hope Suzuki would listen to us and improve skills of their service center guys.

Regards,

Shekhar
