I have got this machine from Suzuki called GS150R on Sept 05, 2009. Have already completed 9000km’s with 4th free servicing done.
Wanna say abt this bike to public is that. if you want good fuel economy and excellent pick-up with good bike control & comfort then pl go and buy this monster.
The bike is bit over weight, not so good looking as that of Yamaha bikes but definately this issss the Hi-Tech(Advance Technology) bike in the market at present with 6 speed gears and a flash light indicator for ECO/PWR mode to get good Economy out of this bike. The console looks sporty which is now copied by Mahindra Rodeo giving similar features like GS150R in non-geared segment.
If you really wanna more out of less money then go and ride the bike but don’t give chance to blink the flash light set for ECO mode and you will be surprised to see GS150R can give you a milage of 75km/lt on Highway’s in 6th Speed Gear. This also means you will not exceed 60Km/Hr in 6th Speed gear.
It is very difficult to maintain speed below 60km/hr for one who is riding GS150R in 6th Speed gear coz you feel like cruzing on this machine on 100km/hr speed with almost minimal vibration and exhaust sound.
You can ride GS150R in 6th Gear on a speed of 30 to 35km/hr without knocking and with constant power.
The top speed till date achieved is 110km/hr and I wish it will be still more if I ride the bike in Power mode!
Finally the golden statement abt GS150R is that. 6th Speed Gear Really Rocks.!
