When I wanted to buy new bike I started reading reviews here about all bikes. I felt it was helpful if anybody wants to buy new bike. That’s why I am trying to write my exp with Second Hand Suzuki Sling shot bike. I was looking to buy New bike but somehow got convinced to go for second hand bike as I dont know how many days I stay in Bangalore.
I found two years old Silg shot with 35K in OLx and thought its best deal and bought last month with price of 32k which completed 2 years and with Kms done 14000 kms.
Coming to Bike Review.
Power:
Power and Pick Up is good for city drive.
Overall Pick up is average good for family city drive. when gear is changed, first 2 or 3 secs pick is less but after 3 secs Pick up is Good which can beat 150 cc bike also.
Mileage: In Bangalore trafic, I am getting fixed mileage of 47 kmpl only I tested it almost 10 times by now.
47 Kmpl is very good when compared to Glamor, SS125 and Shine which are over priced.
People say 60 in city for above bikes, I used to drive all bikes owned by my friends, Mileage is Just 45kmpl only I feel all bikes gives same mileage 45 standard in 125 segment.
Note:Mileage mentioned here with kind of rash driving only. May be normal driving with 30 to 50kmph speed might give more than 47kmpl.
Driving Comfort:
Rear suspension is not good.
Riding comfort is really good compare to other bike like yamaha FZ, Splender & TVS apche.
Realiability:
Till now, Build Quality of bike is really good as no noise from any parts of bike. Engine is quite smooth.Self Start and Kick Start working in one go. Brakes are really good
Except rear suspension which is hard, I feel everything else is good till now.
Hope it wont create any problems another 2 years.
After I read gurrala743124’s review, I am worrying about bike if mileage goes less than 45kmpl. Hopefully it gives my same mileage for 2 years at least with same power
As of now I am happy with mileage, Power, Engine Smoothness of bike for money I invested.
