Indian Consumer taken for granted. I had very much ambitiously brought maruti SX4 looking at all the positive aspects in 2008. The vehical has not been driven much and very nicely maintained. In Aug 2011, its just 12000 km. Suddenly last week its showing problem with power steering. If I take left turn the power steering capability goes off and the steering becomes so hard that there are high chances of accident if you are not able to control and use strength to control. I have checked with their authorized dealer and the whole power steering assembly needs to be replaced. Its going to cost me Rs 30, 000 and on reaching Maruti thay say you should have taken extended warranty. I have checked on net and Suzuki had recalled its vehicals in US due to know issues of power steering. read the press release. Think before you buy this vehical.
