The story line of swades is simple and thin, , , its about mohan bargav who retuns to india to c kaveriamma, who looked after him when he was young...
Sharukh feels guilty as he had not looked after his kaveriamma all these days(however ashutosh could have explained y sharukh had not come to c kaveriamma in the past)
First half of the film is really enjoyable with mindblowing background musica by genius Rahman..
The story revolves with day to day life in the village...however the second half becomes bit preachy..and then it again picks up speed with dekho na song...
Its a must watch film 4 every indian....
The king khan excels in acting when he drinks water from a small boy who sells a cup of water for 25 paise...
The dialogues are sharp and well said.....the expansion of NRI(non returning indians) is good...
Two main highlights of the film are ’’RAHMANS MUSIC’’ and’’the costume designer’’...costumes of sharukh is excellent....
The film lacks in editing...it moves like a snail in the second half....
Swades is a clean film in the recent times..its watchable and swades scores above veer zara and other commercial bollywood films...
