Some time back ex –coo of Wipro Mr. Vivek Paul was made guest editor of “The Economic times” for a day and I read on the main page about “ The George Foundation “and Dr Abraham George.
On the Same day or later ( cant remember) a very good writer on Mouth shut declared that The Film Swades just does not make sense since Mohan Bhargavs ( SRK in the Film) are not possible in this Bad Bad world.
Well Friends forget the world, we do have one in our country.

Migrates to USA- MBA in economics, M.S in Finance and PhD in International Finance and banking from New York University –Stern School
Career- Current Chairman of a Medical diagnostic software company
Was Vice Chairman of a financial software application firm.
Was M.D of a global Investment bank.

Returns to India in 1995 and involves in humanitarian and social activities and gives birth to “THE GEORGE FOUNDATION” and his pet project “The Shanti Bhavan”
“THE SHANTI BHAVAN”

Founded in 1997 a school for the underprivileged children at the outskirts of Bangalore.
It has received wide recognition locally and abroad for the amazing success in selecting children from families with no hope for betterment in life and providing nursing and education of the highest quality till class 12
1)The School has around 350 children coming from families where
a) Parents have had little schooling or nil
b) Parents are Farmers, Coolies, and Masons.
c) Parental Income as low as Rs 2000 a month ( average)
In short Children are selected from socially and economically deprived sections of the society without any caste, creed considerations.
Highlights of the school

1)Affiliated to ISCE- Delhi
2)Children at the preschool coming from the poorest section are taught how
to use toilets, beds and other basic amenities which we take for granted
3)Subjects like Emotional Intelligence, Leadership skills, Social awareness
apart from Math and Science and of course computers.
4)Children showing difficulty in learning are referred to child psychologists
and if required transferred to a more suitable learning environment
5)Parents are kept abreast of their Children’s development throughout.

and reporting the levels of lead poisoning in various cities in India

provide free space at its museum near Hosur in Tamil Nadu
3) Health Care Centers- at various places
4) Women empowerment- through vocational training set up
in one of the poorest districts in Tamil Nadu

For all the Bigotry and pettiness existing today in our country where People harp about Uniform Civil code when there is no basic code of living, When The United Nations recent Human development report says that 58% of Indian children are malnourished, here is an Indian who provides not only nourishment for the body but that of the soul too
and all from his hard earned money.
