Here comes the ’’Swades’’ review,
1] Yunhi chala chal(Udit, kher) -4(Rhythmic/dance.Though hick-chak sound disturbs the melody)
2] Yeh tara woh tara(udit & forget others)-3(Melody/get some knowledge@stars?)
3] Aahista Aahista(Udit &sadhana) -2**(Go to sleep)
4] Yeh jo des hai tera (A.R.) -2**(Patriotic, typical Rehman)
5] Pal pal hai bhari(who are the singers) -2**(Heavy/bhari to listen, last too long, Bhajan)
6] Sanwariya(Alka) -1*(Folk or what?, forget)
7] Forget this one -

As SRK said ’’Swades will do only an average business’’, he is right(Its a prediction!sorry!!But that doesn’t mean the album is great as for somone who has commented on this review).After all one great sound track cann’t make the whole album 5HIT.I don’t know why A.R. these days is more interested in old (his own style) & historical(like lagan)music.He is more keen to digitalise music rather making it melodious.Just listen to the instruments he used, they all draw that same boring old sound.
Eventually, if you want to choose between Swades & Veer-Zaara, go for Veer-Zaara, atleast it is better to have ’’saraswati maa’’ in the collection with melody than ’’ *’’.Bad news A.R. is going down & down & down & down.......ohh...he sinks.....alas!!!!!! You all just listen one sound track ’’chidiya chidiya’’ from movie laloo p. yadav, I am sure you all will forget above tunes in one moment.
Note for guitar players-where’s the melody of A.R. is gone??

Are re tune, I am sure you all had caught that tune almost instantly.All the songs of that movie were catchy.
That’s called a real great music with simple melody.So be patient to give any album 5HIT just because they feel good after listening over and over. After all album should have mass appeal, it should have out and out sell of copies, then only it deserves 5 magic stars.I wonder how many of you think ’’swades’’ will have that kind of appeal?
