Swaragini serial in Colours channel is a very interesting serial about two step sisters. The plot is about how two sisters get married to two brothers in another family. Swara is pictured as a good character and Ragini is pictured as an evil character. What holds the audience’s attention is the twists and turns in the storyline. Ragini who is madly in love with Swara’s fiancee Lakshya, tries to kill Swara on the day of the wedding by throwing her in the river and herself gets married to Lakshya by threatening to kill herself. Luckily Swara doesn’t drown and when she returns she finds that Ragini had married Lakshya. Her parents had also split up as her father considered Swara to be immoral for running away with Sanskar(Lakshya’s cousin) on the day of her wedding with Lakshya. Swara’s mother objected to it and so her husband drove her out of the house. Then Swara vows to bring her parents together and expose Ragini’s evil intentions. She gets married(initially the marriage is fake, but later on they are forced to marry in reality) to Sanskar and enters into her sasural to expose Ragini. The serial is now all about exposing Ragini and driving her out of the house as she has through scheming and blackmailing become the owner of her in-laws house and property. Swara is trying hard to help her in-laws get rid of Ragini and as she herself has fallen in love with Sanskar, she wants to win him back. I think both Swara and Ragini are superb actors. What I like about Swara is her righteousness and moral values and what I dislike about Ragini is the evil which is hidden behind her pretty and innocent face. Even the music track is good and the camera effects are superb. I hope that the producers of the show will continue bringing new twists and turns in the storyline and keep us hooked up to the show.
