I can only comment on two types of foods I had from the Sweet Chariot Cafe - cakes and snacks.
The cakes are to die for, honestly! Absolutely delicious chocolate cakes, mousse cakes, cheese cakes . They are really a treat, and at around Rs70 not too pricey.
The snacks however have lost in quality over time. I used to like their veggie croissants until there was not much more than chili in them. They had a chocolate croissant which was good but they don’t seem to have that anymore. The cheese croissant was kinda boring. Other snacks were nothing special really in my opinion, samosas and puffs as you get everywhere. Often they didn’t look fresh to me, so I have stopped buying snacks from there.
In the hot season there is a problem because they don’t use AC and the cakes and snacks suffer. Sadly.
Another thing I don’t like is that the Cafe is open to THE most busy road in Koregaon Park, North Main Rd. Sitting there at rush hours(4-9pm) is unbearable with the noise and the bad air from exhausts. Really spoils the experience of eating and relaxing. I wish they would at least instal some kind of partition to the road.
But as I said, the cakes are heavenly.
