I am writing this review for Symphony HI-Cool I Air Cooler. I brought this from Snapdeal portal for 7.7K and got delivered to my home town.
The cooler looks good. The build and plastics are really high quality. Water storage capacity is also good. The best part is it can run on UPS and can be moved from one room to another.
Runs really smooth, less noise and good cooling effect for a small room say 10X10(max).
When this product was delivered the cooling pump was not working. So water was not circulating. It throws only hot air. We were not able to use this cooler.
Raised a complaint with symphony(CB-OH-4G14001) on 4th July. Symphony customer care has only IVR so you can only register complaint. Cannot get any other information from them(like near by auth service center details, contact person). I got a SMS reply with one technicians number. But that person never attended the phone.
So after 5 days of waiting I thought of getting repair done by myself.
I felt that motor was running when cooler switch is turned on but water was not circulating. So my guess was during transit the tube between motor and nozzle would have disconnected. I opened it and my guess was correct. Connected the tubing. Water is circulating.
It works as expected.
Now after 2 weeks of time I got an SMS that "Product repair estimate was given and not approved by you so closing the complaint" I dont know in what world symphony customer care people lives. Nothing that sort actually happened.
Just having a customer care portal is not enough M/S Symphony you have to stand by it.
