Symphony Jumbo Jr! Worth the money!

We opted for an Air Cooler over Air Conditioner due to various reasons like installation problems, small size of the room, health reasons etc. The first choice was Symphony. We checked out the range online. When we went to the dealer we like the Jumbo Junior, it was enough for our small room and easy on pocket. Without trolley you can get it for less than 5k! Rates might differ from dealer to dealer so do check it out.

It is a small cooler, as the name Jumbo Jr suggests. Dimensions are 30x30x15. It was small enough even when packed that we could adjust the backseat of our Maruti and bring it home. The fibre body means that it is light, but may not be sturdy. It is ideal for people who have a transferable job and keep shifting homes.

The cooler has 3 Pump settings: High, Medium and Low. The Fan settings are Cool, Cool and Swing and Swing. For the start of summers a combination of Low and Cool and Swing is enough. In fact the first night we used it for eight hours in April we caught a cold! A setting of High for a 1-2 hours can cool a 11 ft by 12 ft room. Then you can move onto Low etc.

The water consumption and electricity consumption is low. A bucket of water is enough to fill the Jumbo. The inlet is there in the front as well, so it is easy to use. Next to the inlet in front, there is a water gauge so you dont ever have to peep in the cooler to know the water level. Believe me, it saves a lot of trouble. The traditional inlet to be used with a pipe is also there.

Its been a year now that we have been using it. In fact we decided to use our warranty and called the guy to clean it and its working great now! In fact we dont miss AC at all even at 40C+ Delhi summer.

Its consumes less electricity, company claims it consumes 25p per hour only.

For a small room, small budget, this is a Jumbo option!
