This is just a piece of crap. All it does is create humidity. I tried it at all possible places in my house and at every possible angle and also ensured that it gets just the fresh air but end result was the same humidity.
It’s makers say that this s works in humidity also but i would say that it works to create humidity.
Service is terrible and the whole process takes ages. In the very first week that i purchased this garbage its pump failed. It lifted water for some time and after that it would do nothing. I had to lodge in multiple complaints to get me heard. The first person who came in for service was an old man in his late eighties, more than the cooler i guess he was the one who needed some servicing. He didn’t do his job properly, lost the screws n created a whole lot of mess. He left (thank god !!) But the problems didn’t. Then came the second person and he did a marvelous job. He made the indicator say full even if the tank was empty and roughly installed the machine. Later on i saw a small plastic part that had come off, was floating on the water. Wow!!! Felt like a proud owner of a fish tank. Problem persisted and after a few days the old man came again. Even though it was all decided on the service center number that the pump would be replaced he was not willing to do so, i had to call in again at the service center number in his presence to make him do what he was supposed to do !! He made me feel as if i was lying to him to get the pump replaced. He did his work as if it was a favor on me.
Later on he himself said that symphony coolers are not worth buying and there are a lot of different complaints that are coming in and in that day itself he had replaced 3 pumps (mind you it was the technician who was saying all this for his company’s product). This is not the end of story the new pump that he has installed is not of symphony it is of some other local brand. When i asked him about this he said that the company is now supplying this brand only. Can u believe it having the most expensive cooler which is running on a local brand pump !! Great keep it up symphony guys !! You have tested my patience to the limit.
Now he has fixed the pump high on the tank’s wall (yes "on the wall") and not on its base, i guess he was short of wire thats why he came up with this noble idea. What happens now is that since the pump is not on tank’s base therefore before reaching the empty level the pump stops lifting water and in case you don’t keep a close eye and it reaches that level cooler starts to give out foul smell because water is not running on the pads. The whole house starts to stink like anything and you are forced to use some room freshener. In the first month of purchase this s hardly worked for 10 days.
Also, cleaning it is such a tedious task that you are forced to believe that climbing mt. Everest would be lot easier !! Oh my god why did i purchase this crap, it is the worst buy of my life. I regret buying this product every second n every now and the then i feel like throwing it out of the balcony.
Please don’t buy. You will only regret your decision like i do.
