Summary:
Overall good taste, and value for money in rice and noodles. Starters quantity is very less.
Ambiance is decent.
Ordered online and got 10% discount(Mon-Thu only). Sometimes coupon code is not dispalyed in website szechuandragon.in. You need to call the hotel and get the coupon code. Usually the coupon code is first 3 letters of the month in capital letters and 10. EG: If month is december then coupon code would be DEC10.
They have veg kitchen separate it seems. They print that in the bill. However, I wanted to check this and went to hotel and see the kitchen. The kitchen is on the left side of cash counter and to my shock, there is no separate kitchen. I did not see any partitions for veg and non-veg:(
Cost for 2 is 350 rs
Noodles review:Kung Pao noodles, butter garlic noodles and lee-fu noodles were good and tasty. Thukpa is of average taste.
Fried Rice review:a) Veg stew rice, Thai fried rice was very tasty.
b) I tried szechaun dragon special fried rice, they give rice and gravy separately(gray is some kind of sauce) and is not good.
c) Shanghai fried rice is mix of rice and noodles is ok in taste. Not good, not bad also.
Starters:Honey potato chilly, General Tso’s paneer were good starters. But quantity given in very very less.Around 8 pieces of paneer for 135 rs:(
Delivery within 30 min. 5% they charged extra as service tax
Cons
- The owner always assumes non veg by default. When I order veg momos in website szechuandragon.in hotel guy assumed it as non veg momos for some strange reason.
This happened twice on one another online order. For fried rice also, he assumed as chicken, when I had ordered veg rice.
So veg people, double confirm your orders to be on safe side
- Separate kitchen for veg and not veg is not true. So pure vegetarians please avoid.
