I was looking forward to see Trainspotting 2 and I knew that nothing can’t beat old good Trainspotting but I did’nt expect to see this. I will keep it short. There is no proper storyline.
Obvious lack of inspiration, everythingseem unifinished, rushed, covered in nostalgia for old times. There is no flow and atmosphere that I remember from the first and for me only Trainspotting.
On the top of it there is lot of ’ reminders’ with the scenes from the first movie. In one word whole movie is based on nostalgia and does’nt keep your attention at all.
Actors are too old to play these characters, there is no energy anymore. Spud’s character is only one played with ful enthusiasm .
I know a lot of people will go to see it out of curiosity but I would’nt reccomend this movie, not at all.
