Tujhe sab hai pata, hai na MAA!

Dekho inhe Ye hain oos ki boonde.

in first look, TAARE ZAMEEN PAR looks like a film made for kids, but as the story unfolds, you realize that the story peeps into the mind and heart of a kid, his interests, his hobbies, his strengths and weaknesses. The director opens the cards at the very outset, when you realize that the kid is just not interested in books/studies. And his interaction with his stern father, doting mother and lovable brother is straight out of life.

Tare Zameer Par is about a child who suffers because no one around him recognizes that he is a slow learner. The beauty of the narration is that the message applies to all children - learning disability or not. How can creativity not deserve a place in academics? It also points a very subtle finger there is some problem with our SYSTEM? And Only because of that every parents wants a topper in their house, What to do?

"Har bache ki apni khubi hoti hai,

apni kaabiliat hoti hai, apni chaahat hoti hai,

lekin nahin, har ungli ko kheench kar lambi karne mein lage hai sab.

Lage raho.chahe ungli kyun na toot jaye."

The pace of the first half gives you time to think of normal children who are just not academically inclined. The resolution in the second half, however, comes by too quickly compared to the trauma shown earlier. But, I guess, if the point is to show that difficulties can be overcome, you don’t necessarily want to show how difficult it is to overcome them.

About 45 minutes post-interval, Darsheel Safary(Ishaan) said a line which made you realize that he hadn’t said a line in the last hour or so. .There You will really feel bad for ISHAN…. I must say Darsheel’s expressions and body language simply Excellent.Any Emotional person will literally cry in the song… Main Kabhi Batlata Nahi, par andhere se darta hun main MAA, Teri parwah karta hun main MAA.

There are several moments in the first hour that make you moist-eyed. The bonding between the mother and son is remarkable. These moments effectively capture the special bonding, making you realize that a mother’s mere touch can act like a soothing balm on a paining soul.

A-M-I-R  K-H-A-N is as per expectation(as we expected a masterpiece) as an actor and as an Director also. The child actor Darsheel Safary, I am not able to find any adjective for him… AWESOME. We have to accept TISCA CHOPRA as an great actress… As per a news after this movie She has been offered to take acting classes in Whisteling Woods, Subhash Ghai’s Acting Institute.

I think 2007 was an year for good movies… and TZP is may be best among all of them.
