Best flick of the year.......

Taare Zameen Par, an absolute blockbuster of the year. The flick that kept the audience glued to their seats till the end. This movie is not the one that merely entertains but also enlightens and coerce you peep inside a child’s mind. This movie is wonderfully made that appeals all strata of the society and touches an emotional chord that binds us together.

Taare Zameen Par *gives a strong take home message for the parents who pursuit to make there kids “stronger” academically, forget that there is untapped talent that need to nurtured and encouraged. This movie is a wake-up call for all the parents and would be’s.  The story makes one traverse deep into the child psychology and has aimed at highlighting an issue, which till now has been ignored.  The movie has been successful at filming the fantasy world of a child his innovative ideas, new budding approach towards the world outside which always succumbs in front of the harsh real world.

Movie has very gently raised the issue of the social unacceptability of the mentally challenged people.  The story centres round a child suffering from the disease of Dyslexia played by a child actor Darsheel Safary.  The story describes the dilemma of the child, as he is completely unaware about the complexities of his state and continues to suffer all the opposition and insults directed by the society until he meets his saviour, his teacher played by Aamir Khan in the movie.

Taare Zameen Par is an achievement all the way from the director’s point of view. Aamir Khan is creditable of distinction marks for extracting a commendable performance from the child and handling the plot with ultimate sensitivity. Aamir proves in his debut film that he is a gifted storyteller, someone who has the valour to swim against the wave and also induce the viewer that there is more to filmmaking than the sheer masala entertainers. Well-done Aamir!*
