I had booked a cab for 3.30 pm on 1st Sep and got a confirmatory message @ around 12.20 pm. When I still had not received. the cab details by 3 pm, I called the customer care. They informed me that the booking is confirmed and I will receive the confirmatory msg. shortly.
As soon as I hung up, around 3.10 pm, I did receive a msg. except that it was a regret message. I had to make last minute changes to my plan since I needed an AC cab for my 5 yr old son.Thankfully, it was not for a flight/train to catch.
In fact, I called up Meru @ 3.20 pm for a cab @ 3.45 and it actually was there bang on time. I hope I never have to depend on TAB and will also strongly advise people from doing so. I even called up the customer care immediately to lodge a complaint but the line cut-off mid way.
Not wanting to add to my stress, I simply gave up!
