Taco Bell cures what ails ya!

Well, not exactly, but Taco bell is one of my favorite fast food places to eat!

Taco Bell is supposed to feature Mexican food, but nothing on the menu is authentic Mexican. Yes, they have tacos and burritos, but they are so Americanized that you can barely tell what they are. They look like tacos and burritos but don’t exactly taste like their true Mexican counterparts. Despite this, I find them rather tasty! If you end up at a Taco Bell I reccomend the following items:

Soft Taco Supreme ( a folded over soft shell with meat, lettuce cheese, the supreme gets you tomatoes and sour cream)

Regluar Taco (just meat cheese and lettuce, but very cheap)

Nacho Cheese Chalupa (I can only describe the chalupa as a deep fried taco shell, but that doesnt do it justice, it also has nacho cheese sauce, meat, tomatoes and lettuce)

Gordita Supreme (A Gordita is based on a floopy pita like bread, it also has meat, lettuce tomato sour cream, and I believe onions as well)

MexiMelt (a combo of tomatoes, meat and 2 kinds of cheese placed in a soft tortilla, them super steamed.Yum!)

One thing about Taco Bell that some do not care for is the fact that the food tends to be bland, I find that to be somewhat erroneous. While it lacks the punch of real Mexican fare, it is tasty. A good thing about the ’’Bell’’ is that it is cheap as far as fast food goes, you can go away full for less than 10 dollars American. They also introduce ’’special items’’ frequently to keep your interest.

I have seen that some reviewers on this site claims that Taco Bell makes you sick but I have never had that issue. However let the buyer beware, Taco Bell’s are franchises, and some restuarants are better run and cleaner than others.

I cant ignore the fact that Taco Bell was caught using genetically modified corn for its tortillas, but it also must be noted that the shells in question were in supermarkets, not at the resturants themselves, and to be honest, if you are dining at places like Taco Bell, you probaly dont care anyway.
