Hi team I have a purchased SKODA SLAVIA 1.0 MANUAL from your showroom in 2023 from that time I am facing the below mentioned issues.
1. Before purchasing the car I have been for PDI and the executive was not available at that time and she was on a test drive with other customer and nobody was there to explain the features of car. The car was in a condition that I completely disappointed as it is full of dust and rough surface and the sales person told it will be cleaned and delivered as it was in stock yard. There started the first compromise.
2. At the time of taking delivery I found that the car surface was rough and not that much smooth and the sales person said sir if you do it 3m ceramic coating the car gets shine and it will be dead smooth surface. When I am not willing to pay for extra coating then why they are suggesting it either they need to do a buffing and need to deliver but this was not done. 2nd compromise.
3. After taking the delivery the 12v socket was not working and then I raised a complaint to SKODA and they sent a technician who arrived to my residence without proper spares there was an issue of the fuse but he didnt have it so he has fixed with a copper wire and told me that he will come back but didnt. Later on, I went outside and then I found a garage there the SKODA cars were servicing and I told the issue and they told if you leave like this there might be chances of short circuit come sir I will fix it and the un known person fixed it to me. 3rd compromise.
4. I noticed a rattling noise within a month period time but the service team says that it is common and it is there in all cars - no solution provided for this from the date of purchase to till date. 4th compromise.
5. The camera display in the infotainment it shows an error message but till now it was not solved. 5th compromise.
6. The interior cabin roof is completely soft and the person explained me that if you met with an accident your head wont get injured, is this the way of speaking with customers? 6th compromise.
7. There is a hard brake noise in the vehicle. 7th compromise.
8. There is an issue the window glass while doing up and down it has some noise. 8th compromise.
9. Now the clutch issue as I am experienced driver and having a 10yrs exp in driving and I have used Hyundai I 20 and driven the car for 80000kms and I have changed the clutch at 50000kms as I have started my first car as it is a second hand car when I purchased it, it was driven only 6500kms and remaining kms driven by me my brother and my cousin. Second car was Maruti Ertiga which was driven 26000kms and it is also a secong hand car which was driven 13000 kms when I was purchased from friend later on I sold it due to a have a change in car and I purchased the German Engineered car Skoda Slavia Ambition 1.0 Manual but it is very disappointing me. The clutch is burnt fully as I was used my leg keeping on clutch itself this was informed by the service team at TAFE ACCESS SERVICE CENTRE, The car has driven less than 15000 kms. I am surprised by listening this 1st I am not a fresher, 2nd I am not riding the car to office daily on bumper to bumper traffic. 3rd mostly I am using the car for long drive and if necessary I will use it in local. Compared to other brands I check each and every person is saying that I got it replaced at 90k, 1lakh, 1, 5lakh, here I am a having a doubt that only the body or the shell of the car is only 5 star and the parts and the quality of the vehicle is completely low and I have doubt whether it is not as per German Engineering / standards or the quality it shows here and I got a message from the consigned team that the clutch cost is 27000 and labor is 5000 and they will provide 60% discount as they informed this to skoda and on good will 2000 so totally my bill will be 13-15k and I have a doubt here when I discussed with the team and they told the clutch disc is burnt I have a question here that why we need to change complete clutch kit instead of changing the disc as the clutch facing needs to be changed and if we purchase any product outside we can see the MRP and we can get the discounts but here there is no question of showing MRP to customer and we trust completely on you and accept this and the person is saying that it has burnt completely and dropped into powder yes I agree the what ever the smoother substance rubs on a harder surface the dust will accumulate there and the liner of the clutch disc is around 1.5 to 2.5mm I think and after this one more thing I heard from them that I have received many customers whose clutch was burnt completely by running 50kms, 500kms I have cases like that and one more doubt here if the clutch is burning then the smell comes outside of the car and we can smell it easily but here in my case I observed this in the month of may summer vacation when I visited ooty I went to doddabetta and it is a hilly area and there was bumper to bumper traffic and this was happened in 2023 and after that it became normal .
10. I strongly inform to my friends and others people that please dont buy Skoda cars as it not up to the mark of German Engineering or standards. Before purchasing please check this issues of the car 1st and think it ten times and if required go if not dont go.
11. The service team told me that the torque is more so you need to change the clutch on lesser period itself and we are not racers here to drive the car as we have the limitations of the speed and we need to follow the traffic rules.
12. By using on test drive for only one time please dont go with Skoda please take other opinion on car who are using it based upon that if you are ok you can purchase the car or please change like that I need to inform that overall I am not happy at all after spending my hard earned money on the car and this was my first car on my name. So totally I am disappponted on it now I dont know what to do further.
