I went to Khajuraho from Bhopal with my Family(Wife & son). We drove down and covered a distance of 400 kms in 8 hours. The roads were simply pathetic!
Route: Bhopal- Sagar- Chhatarpur- Khajuraho
· Location: Good, most good hotels are located in the same area. The market & temples are 2
kms away
· Property: Very well maintained, has lush green gardens, swimming pool, badminton, etc
· Room: Avg sized but really nice looking & clean. Overlooks the pool. Wooden flooring. Also has a sitout balcony.
· Price: Got a steal @ Rs3500/day inclusive of breakfast
· Service: The best I’ve ever experienced
· Food: Average
· Huge parking space with free accommodation for drivers
· Panna National Park is just 30 mins drive
· Pandav Falls are a must see which is on the way to Panna
If you visit Khajuraho, I can say that this is the best place to stay even without looking at the other properties.
