Story of an ex-secret service agent[Liam Neeson] whose past life was churned during his service. So his wife takes divorce but agent has very strong emotional bond for his daughter[Maggie Grace] who lives with her mom and new uber rich dad. Chaos comes in when daughter goes to Paris with her friend for a vacation and accidently falls in a racquet involved in trafficking, kidnapping and prostitution of female tourists. But when the daughter was being kidnapped she was already on phone talking to her agent dad who was already worried and she gives hint about the persons capturing her and dad promises to find the kidnappers and take her daughter back. He uses different tactics and his contacts to accomplish this and revealing involvement of local police with the gangsters.
Movie is nicely plotted and cast do justice with their parts, if we are well adjusted to the the fact that agent never runs out of luck and ammo plus he has superhuman capabilities except he can’t fly or something, this movie is very good to watch and I even started comparing it with a Bond movie.
A watch for an adrenaline junkie.
