Salaam...

"Ye hawa, ye raat, ye chandni...

Teri ek adaa pe nisaar hai...

Mujhe kyun naa ho teri aarzoo...

Teri justju mein bahaar hai..."

Kya galat hoga agar yahi main Talat Saahab ke liye kahun...?

There’s a beginning and an end...But in between ’them’ lies the infinity.....something that can’t be measured or weighed or confined by any system of reasoning....You don’t need any reason to love Talat Saahab’s songs...(Yes, they are all his songs...which he sang)...you don’t need any occasion to hear them...And you will never ever fail to find something for any mood...Now consider the case that all he did sang was a mere 750(app.) songs in his life time...

Do you have any term to define his mastery...If you do have one, please tell me...for I too would love to call him with that term...

His songs hold a special place in my heart...for they showed me...how I can get those gallons of stored tears to let go...After I did...I loved him...I always will....

He might have sung for all moods but his blues...are the best...when one feels down...it’s the best time to hear them....Close your room, shut down the lights....keep the fan to a slow speed....and let the hormones take over...aggregated byTalat Sahab’s songs...

It’s easy to hear his songs...now that we have Youtube...So come on folks...Just get in touch with your soul...get hold of his songs...

My favourite 5 songs of Talat Saahab :-

1)Ye hawa, Ye raat, Ye chandni...

2)Aye dil mujhe aisi jagah le chal...jahaan koi naa ho...

3)Jindagi dene wale sun...teri duniya se ji bhar gaya...

4)Jalte hain jiske liye...teri aankhon ke diye...

5)Teri aankh ke aansooo...

(They are all there on Youtube...so go ahead and hear them...)
