Hey ppl,
I had two choices of purchasing my ford Ikon Flair from, one was Planet Ford , the other Talera Ford, After bargaining a lot with both the dealers ( I got discounts upto 40k), inspite of getting a better offer from planet ford, I chose to go with Talera ford as I thought they had a better advantage as they were a ford dealership from a longer time than planet ford. That was my biggest mistake...
Till the point I booked the vehichle, everything was going fine, the showroom ppl were all helpful, they agreed to whaterver alterations I asked for in the vehicle, they said everything will be taken care off.
The day I booked my vehicle, I get a shock from these guys saying that the alterations I wanted in the vehicle can’t be done, when I enquired about cancelling my order, they told me that I had to pay a fine of 5000 rs. so I said fine, please deliver me the vehicle with all accessiories loaded on daseera, that was a weeks time, the marketing guy ( a mister sharad) promised me that I would get the complete vehicle on dassera.
So on dassera , me and my family go to take the car and am shocked ... these ppl had put a car in front of me which didn’t have even one accessory I had ordered. After a lot of arguing we took the car home, let me tell you, this, without the registration, no accessories, no insurance and on top of they had the guts to ask me to sign a document that says that its my responsiblity if anything happens to the car.
The talera ford ppl took a whole week to get the registration done ( I had to stand on thier heads for this) , then another week to get the accessories fitted.
I had specifically asked that the waxoyl coating to the car be done in front of me, they had agreed on this before the booking, :) but on the day of delivery these ppl sheeplesy tell me thats its already been done, I then told them that I wouldn’t pay for the same, so they had to do it in front of me.
Its been 2 months now and one of the accessory is still not been fitted (a sporty steeing wheel), I keep calling these guys and everyone of them keeps telling me next monday.
I even had a talk with their manger a mr. Agarwal, well we apologized for everything , took my number and said that he will get back to me, that was a month ago, still haven’t heard from him, must be busy working... (thats conning other idiots like me)
Well to sum it up, talera ford could not keep its word or deliver what it had promised on not even a single occasion. I very strongly don’t recommend Talera ford , pune (atleast with the current managment) as a dealer.

I think I should add this part ..
excellent after sales service support , the car is picked up from home at the given time and delivered at the given time, I needed to add this as I don’t think the dealership should be blamed for a few unprofessional sales ppl at the showroom.
