I shifted my ford endeavour car from Mumbai to Pune about 4 years back. Being in proximity, I am giving my Endeavour to Talera ford since then.
I am thoroughly disappointed with the lack of quality and have raised it the company multiple number of times. To my disadvantage, I need the vehicle rarely and hence I have noticed many of the flaws late to my disadvantage.
So while I have raised these concerns couldn’t really get time to follow up on them.
After first visit, there was a noticeable quality loss in the music system performance. The quality of sound has simply gone down. Not sure what they did with it. On complaint, Talera guys tested and confirmed my music system was normal. Being an audiophile, I keep noticing the difference.
Lights. I started noticing a drop in the light quality. On taking it for an inspection in other place, it was identified that the bulbs were no longer xenon white. The wiring discontinued and normal bulbs were on the car. As it was almost 3 months post the servicing when I had to go out on highway, there was no point going and discussing it with them.
Coolant: My car, when transferred from Mumbai had green coolant in it. I was given a large theory and discussion around the same and asked to change the coolant by keeping my car there for two days. I was charged for the coolant change and car delivered home. Only to notice later that the coolant was not changed at all. It was the same as earlier. On contacting them, I was being told that the green coolant has great performance.
3M interior cleaning. They simply charged me and did nothing. Only on raising the issue, they apologised and got it done.
Front wheel. I was told that my axle rod has some issue and has to be replaced. The front suspension has become problematic after that. Only to be told that there is no problem.
Timing belts. They recently got me to change timing belts etc. The engine performance is down. And complaining to ford is not working.
Oil Change. When my other vehicles undergo an oil change the vehicle sound is significantly different. For Endeavour, no such thing happens.
Needless to say, every time they charge like a premium car and then always much more the Ford price promise and deliver much much less than the promise.
