Talvar, for me, was an eye opener. The Aarushi murder case, had been under close scrutiny from the time it came in the news.
Like the rest of my fellow citizens, I too believed what the police said, the parents killing their own daughter and the servant.
Something did question in my heart, how was it possible for a father to kill his own daughter however the circumstances were? But, the evidence and the fake story, straight out a movie, seemed too convincing, though sadistic.
The movie brought to light all that had been hidden from the common mans eye. How carelessly can a sensitive case be handled and the evidences tampered with, how easily a senior officers ego come between his duties, and how when a case is almost done with, a little greed for promotion leads it to where it started from.
I just want to say one thing. We still dont know the actual truth. What we now know is from the movie and the case as it had been. But, do you think its fair to let those be in jail, whose crime has not been proven?
I love this line from the movie that when we can allow 10 guilty men to roam freely, let the innocent live in peace at least. And I guess this is the best thing to do at present
