Talwar Hyundai - Worst Service in Hyd & Sec

Recently I had purchased a Hyundai Verna from Talwar Hyundai, Secunderabad. Just before purchasing, I had requested for a test vehicle. When the test vehicle was brought, I had observed that the vehicle was badly damaged in the back due to an accident.


But anyway I test drove the vehicle and I was happy with the performance. After a couple of days I paid the advance and the loan was arranged as scheduled. I got the delivery of the vehicle after a week. When I saw the delivered vehicle, I was little suspicious. Anyway I took the delivery as I was more eager to own it. At home I spent some time inspecting the vehicle and to my horror I realized that I was given the same test vehicle.


The damage was repaired, but still I could see small scratches just near the damaged area. Also when I took the vehicle, the speedometer was not working. So while using the car as a test vehicle, talwar people plucked the cable to freeze the mileage readings! When I reported that the meter was not working, then they coolly put the cable back! Till today, the very thought of owning a test vehicle is still in my head. The same day I had blasted the sales agent but he swore that the test vehicle was in the workshop due to another accident.


Regarding servicing, I was told to send my vehicle to Talwar Hyundai Service Center at Tadbund. This place is located just behind old begumpet airport. The entire area can fit about 100 vehicles. The first service went smoothly. But the trouble started from the second service. I had taken the car for second service along with minor damages (scratches on the left side of the bumper) to be done. I was informed by a person called Murthy that the vehicle will be delivered on the 3 day.


The service is so bad that no one calls up from the center to tell me the status. I had to call atleast 5-10 times in a day to know the status. This Murthy never attends the call and just disconnects. I had to call almost everyone in Talwar. Finally on the 9th day, I had to go to talwar forcefully. I met this Murthy and he told me that the vehicle was ready for delivery. At the same moment, he was getting calls on his mobile and he was disconnecting the calls without even answering!


When the vehicle was brought to me, I carefully checked the vehicle and found that there was a damage on the left side of the car near the back door! I realised that the driver who drove between the shed and parking area rubbed the vehicle on something. That was enough to lose my patience. I gave left and right to all the workers who attended on the vehicle. There was no respect after that to anyone including Murthy. Believe it or not, talwar took 9 days to paint a damaged area and the new damage of the same size was done in just 2 hrs after my blastings!!!


Also I had requested some minor troubles to be rectified on the vehicle and they were left totally unattended. When I enquired Murthy, he just stared at me with a go-s-yourself attitude! Another problem was that while painting another vehicle, droplets of paint fell over my vehicle and the entire vehicle texture became rough. Infact the Teflon coating was lost! Finally I had to bring the vehicle out after paying 4000! I complained about the incident to Talwar Customer Care. There is a lady I suppose in the name of Vijay lakshmi, she is very famous for providing false promises and instant call backs, which never come. They behave as if they are on their toes to solve problems but they never call back nor we see the daylight.


Couple of months went by, but still the very thought of my vehicle getting roughed up by talwar remained in my mind. Then a close friend of mine told me that he knew someone working at the same service center. We both met the person and he was very much pleased to meet me and he felt sorry after hearing the second service incident. Then one fine day I brought the vehicle to the same service center and handed over to my friend’s friend. Believe me, he really took attention and made the vehicle new for me. I was literally happy and thanked him for his support.


Ok now, what do you understand from this incident? Strangers are always strangers to anyone. Just because I managed to befriend someone my problems were solved. What about numerous customers who don’t have friends? Talway hyundai is headed by a person called SARAL TALWAR, CEO, his mobile 9848030070. I wonder what he is doing when his company name is getting tarnished with poor service from both sales and after sales! I think he is encouraging his workers to treat customers badly. While I was inquiring about the vehicle on the first day at Talwar Center, a group of koreans had come there. You should have seen the drama created by the Staff and the CEO. I wish they come suddenly and check these people. When I purchased a vehicle from Khivraj Chennai, they call up periodically to enquire about the vehicle working status and the service due dates. They used to attend minor faults at home! Why can’t Talwar keep a database and please the customers? I heard KUN and Lakshmi Hyundai are much better in looking after customers. Talwar, you people have to pull up your socks to maintain your level in the current market to be number one.
