The staff of EB Tamilnadu is really a headache to deal with. Last month 2 persons came to take meter reading to my house. I was alone with my kid. They were new persons who have never come before. As soon as they came they started ordering me to move the car and asked for a bench to stand on it to take reading.
I told I don’t have a bench but can provide a chair, but they started shouting and telling that they won’t take the reading, threw the card down and walked out. For the past many years I did not have a trouble of this sort from the meter reading people. I called up the engineer and complained and finally he arranged for someone else to take the reading. Also the cable from the post always has a loose contact and I get only 2 face instead of 3. I have complained many times.
Each time they come, after setting it right it goes off again in just 2, 3 days when a bird sits on the cable.I So my experience with the lower grade staff of the Board.
