Tandoor in MG road is a fine dining place that serves North Indian food. The average cost for two people here is INR 2100. They have a great ambiance that will give you royal feels, but their food can feel like it is slightly overpriced.
Their butter chicken platter costs 800 and is not worth the price that you pay for it. The lucknowi biryani does not taste authentic. Their jaljeera is amazing, as is their tandoori pomfret. Their ghost seekh kebab, which is made out of mutton, has a taste that will blow your mind. Their chicken tikka lababdar is a delight to the taste buds and tastes amazing with tandoori roti.
Their chicken hariyali tikka is moist and flavorful. Their dal makhani is great. Their paneer lababdar is drool-worthy and is a pure delight. Their fish tikka is amazing. The chicken in almond gravy is not that good and can be given a miss. The kheema matar tastes out of the world. Their garlic naan is finger licking good. Their vegetable platter is a dish that is amazing and will truly take your taste buds on a joy ride.
The desserts at the place are not good. The gulab jamun is flat and tasteless and is the worst that I have ever had. The badam kheer is nice but not amazing.
Tandoor is slightly overpriced, but their ambience makes eating here an experience that you will cherish and some of the dishes here are very tasty so it is worth trying.
