When me and my family left the movie theatre after watching thanmatra, my dad was driving and he went the wrong way instead of the right way..my mom was like. ’’Manushya, ningilkum Rameshan Nairante asookam pidicho?
i predicted that the movie will earn quite some awards..me and my dad had a bet...for some strange reason, my dad did not like the movie, even though he cried in every emotional scene..but oh well..who cares...
when I saw the trailer and songs of thanmatra..immediately I knew it willl be a great movie and I suggest that you should go and watch it in the theatre..
its a great family movie and of course its a tearjerker..
in 2005, lalettan had onlly 2 hits, naran and udayan tharam..they created magic at the box office...though thanmatra limped at the box office first...it slowly picked up and startted collecting good collections!
LALETTAN is I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E as Rameshan Nair...his character is the ideal husband, ideal father, ideal worker, ideal son...lalettan looked like a cute baby when he had the alzheimer’s disease...WOWWW, HE WAS GREAT!!
meera vasudevan is okay as lekha...i think its the dubbing artist’s fault..because the voice modulation didnt match that welll....but in the second half..she was very good, especially in the ending! Lalettan and Meera share a very good chemistry..if you n look at Balettan, Hariharan pilla happiyan, udayanan tharam, we dont see him sharing a chemistry with the heroines, but in thanmatra is very different...
they are such a good couple...i have to credit lalettan and meera when they are having that sex scene..becausse that requires great courage to do a scene like that!
Arjunlal provided an excellent performance..its hard to think that he is a newcomer because he looks like he has been in this industry for a very long time...he has a very bright future and we could h0pe he picks great roles!
Baby Niranjana was so cute as manju..i felt like hugging her!
Nedumudi venu, Jagathi, had a good character roles...and they excelled in it...we saw Nedumudi Venu in similar roles...but as I was watching this movie..i was wondering what if Thillakan did nedumudi venu’s role...that wouldve been great because mohanlal and thillikan has that father and son chemistry...

the story was excellent, great performances.songs, camera work..the whole credit goes to the one and only BLESSY!! we always wished that somebody like padmarajan or bharathan will return...but now we dont have to worry about that because Blessy is here...he proved it by the beautiful movie, dynamite kazcha..and now thanmatra....WOW!! THANK YOU BLESSY FOR THIS WONNNNNNDERFUL M00000000VIE!
i am predicting that lalettan will receive a national award but it will be a tough competition because there is Amitabh Bachan with Black..i hope both of them gets the national award!
