Started by Rajiv Ramchandani and Madan Chabria who wanted to put India on the map. Their flagship company, Tantra makes T-shirts that are far from serious. In fact they are hysterically hilarious. Its not the way they say it, its how they say it. Thats what the creators say.
What goes into making this T-shirt ?
A whole network of talented Mumbai-based designers
and copywriters work with Tantra to create a series of highly likable prints, each with its own unique message and humorous spin.
Tantra uses special imported eco-friendly pigment which are water based which does not smell. All over India more than 50 retail outlets stock their T-shirts. Priced at Rs 250, they come in many designs and sizes. Each T-shirt also carries a specially-designed tag made of recycled paper, that reads: ’’Tantra T-shirts are so nuttily Indian that they are cool.’’
The next key word is comfortability and durability. Being 100% cotton, it is very comfortable to wear and washing it does not make it shrink or lose colour. You just have to be careful putting your iron directly on the prints. Otherwise its great buy for a great price.
