Hi,
I had the chance of reading this non-fiction book. The book relates the Western scientific inventions to the Eastern Mysticism. By Eastern Mysticism he means the three big religions viz., Hinduism, Buddhism and Taoism of the oriental east.
It deals with the atomic models and compares them with the solar systems. Though we have heard about these things in many other books, here the author comes out with lucid examples to prove his comparisons. Terms like Shivas cosmic dance will definitely enthrall any avid Hinduism follower. Equal importance is given to all the three religion. The Yin-Yang principle of the Japanese is also best explained here citing the example of its patron Suzuki.
Tao of Physics is ideally suited for the people who are interested in science and have a flair for religious stuffs. They would be able to appreciate their co-relations which is the author is trying to bring out.
The book might not enthuse the gripping novel readers, people interested in Arts, Poetry et al.
